Joyful Nest Design Co creates handcrafted wooden home decor inspired by faith, family, and meaningful moments. Every piece is designed to bring warmth, intentionality, and a little light into everyday spaces. Making homes feel lived-in, loved, and full of heart with pieces that are actually meant to be used.
The products were meaningful and well-loved, but the brand lacked a cohesive visual identity and clear messaging. Michelle needed support in developing a look and feel that could grow with her, communicate the brand's values, and connect with customers emotionally not just aesthetically.

I positioned Joyful Nest as a home decor brand with purpose — soft, faith-centered, and grounded in family values. Instead of leaning into rustic trends, I gave the brand a quiet, heartfelt elegance that felt approachable and authentic. The voice was shaped to be gentle and sincere, with just the right amount of modern polish to grow into new audiences and product categories. The perspective was shifted from decor that's just for looking at, to handcrafted wooden treasures that is meant to be used everyday (and made to withstand it).
The strategy
Joyful Nest now reflects the heart of its mission — to help people create spaces that are beautiful, faith-filled, and full of love. With the new branding, Michelle has been able to grow with confidence and show up in ways that feel aligned, intentional, and unmistakably her. Joyful Nest Design Co has since tripled its yearly revenue, and is stocked in small shops and boutiques across the country.
