Because great brands (and vacations) are better with company
Before the idea for Covarra ever existed, before I refined my client process or dreamt up the idea of a “Bungalow Brand Package,” I found myself in a season that looked nothing like ease.
My husband had just started his emergency medicine residency, which meant we packed up our family of five and moved to California. My business had slowed to a near halt. I was overwhelmed, unsure how we’d make ends meet, and facing a choice I didn’t want to make — between doing what I loved or doing what felt “safe.”
That’s when I took a vacation that would change everything.

Puerto Rico, and the Pause That Changed My Perspective
It was the first time I’d ever traveled that far. The first time I’d stayed at a luxury, all-inclusive resort. The first time I’d taken a trip without my kids.
I went with my sisters, not fully knowing what I needed, just knowing I needed something.
And Puerto Rico delivered.
The second I arrived, the entire pace of life shifted. From the view of the ocean with nothing in sight but endless water, to the sound of the waves replacing the noise in my mind, I felt something crack open. I soaked in the balmy humidity, sipped piña coladas by the pool, and danced to music pouring through the streets of Old San Juan. I explored El Morro and saw centuries of history up close. I wore resort wear every day like I was born to do it.
It was vibrant. Luxurious. Soulful.
It wasn’t just a trip. It was a reawakening.

“I Want My Business to Feel Like This”
There was a moment (and I remember it vividly) when a cabana boy set up my lounge chair, adjusted the umbrella for me, and brought me a drink. I laughed and thought, This is the most pampered I’ve ever been in my life.
Then it hit me.
I want my clients to feel like this.
That trip became the blueprint for everything I’ve built since. An entire year of a dream in the making because I wanted it to be perfect for you.
Covarra isn’t just a design studio — it’s an experience. It’s about pressing pause, coming up for air, and getting excited about your business again. It’s about melting away burnout, rekindling creativity, and remembering that this whole building a business thing can be enjoyable.
My time in Puerto Rico reminded me why I started and gave me the clarity I needed not to quit.

What It Taught Me About Business
I came back knowing one thing for sure:
Great brands aren’t built alone.
Just like the best vacations, the most powerful brand experiences are done in good company.
That’s why I’ve never tried to build Covarra in isolation. I’ve collaborated with photographers, copywriters, web designers, and other creatives who bring the brand to life alongside me and I encourage my clients to do the same.
Because a brand this beautiful, this refined, this full of you — is always worth investing in.
So What Does This Have to Do With Your Brand?
When you work with me, you’re not just getting strategy and visuals. You’re getting the kind of experience I had in Puerto Rico… without ever needing to leaving your laptop.
- You’ll feel seen.
- You’ll feel supported.
- You’ll feel the weight lift.
And most importantly, you’ll walk away with a brand that reflects your next chapter — one you’re actually excited to step into.
That vacation didn’t just change my energy. It changed my philosophy:
Your brand should feel like a getaway.
And I’m here to design the escape plan.
